The 74HC14 is a high-speed silicon gate CMOS IC that provides six channels of inverting Schmitt triggers. These triggers convert slowly changing input signals into fast, clean output transitions. The output behavior is identical to the LS14 in terms of pin configuration, and the inputs are compatible with standard CMOS logic levels.
