PL485 RF System-on-Chip
Microchip Technology PL485 RF System-on-Chip (SoC) is a fully programmable Power Line Communication (PLC) SoC. This SoC can run any Narrowband-PLC (NB-PLC) protocol in the frequency band up to 500kHz. The PL485 SoC supports applications requiring basic connectivity such as point to point and star or complex PLC networks (mesh topologies with routing). The PL485 SoC is a future-proof modem able to support the evolution of the implemented NB-PLC standards. Applications include smart lighting, fire and alarm systems, solar, and home automation.
