Description

Molex Contrinex Inductive and Photoelectric Sensors are ideal, robust, and self-contained sensors with an integrated IO-link. These sensors feature compact housing and large sensing range that are ideal for limited space applications and challenging environments. The inductive and photoelectric sensors are widely used in packaging machines, food and beverage, filling plant, textile, machine tools, and logistics.

The inductive sensors offer 1mm to 40mm sensing distance range while the photoelectric sensors offer 1mm to 50,000mm sensing distance range. The target material for inductive sensors is metal and the target material for photoelectric sensors is any light reflecting material. The photoelectric sensors feature good color and contrast recognition, a diffuse sensor with background suppression, and UV light technology for transparent object detection. The inductive sensors come with one-piece factor-1 steel and aluminum housing, vibration resistance, and shock resistance.
