Texas Instruments MMWAVEPOEEVM Evaluation Module supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for the TI 60GHz to 64GHz mmWave sensors carrier card platform. The MMWAVEPOEEVM integrates a PoE converter solution and the high-performance SimpleLink™ MSP432E4 Ethernet MCU with Ethernet to develop mmWave radar applications. The MMWAVEPOEEVM design increases the value of the end application using the ability to obtain power over existing network cabling, combined with intelligence to gather, process, and exchange data between the cloud and mmWave EVMs. Users can leverage their existing network to not only communicate and control mmWave radar devices securely with the PoE solution but also to deliver power. These benefits reduce the system cost and add value to designs.
