KIT-CRD-8FFxP Eval Boards

Wolfspeed / Cree KIT-CRD-8FFxP Eval Boards are designed to demonstrate the switching and thermal performance of the 650V SiC C3M™ MOSFET. These eval boards are also capable of characterizing EON and EOFF losses and steady-state thermal performance in SiC MOSFETs. The KIT-CRD-8FFxP boards can demonstrate the AlN inlay PCB technology for the thermal management of surface mount power devices. The PCB contains AlN inserts under the MOSFETs to provide electrical isolation and optimized heat transfer to the heat sink. These eval boards feature two ADuM4121 MOSFET drivers which include active miller clamping and 2A (<2Ω RDSON) peak output current for lower switching losses. Typical applications include industrial power supplies, server/telecom, EV-charging systems, Energy Storage Systems (ESS), and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS).
