Infineon Technologies TRENCHSTOP™ RC-H5 1200V/1350V/1600V IGBTs were developed and optimized for the rigorous requirements of induction cooking applications. These devices feature high efficiency, excellent thermal performance, and low EMI filtering requirements, reducing overall system costs and design efforts. Improvements in thermal performance and reduced power dissipation, even by higher ambient temperatures and stress conditions, guarantee better reliability. Soft switching capabilities result in better EMI behavior leading to less filtering requirements and lower system costs. The RC-H5 IGBTs are offered in 20A, 30A, and 40A current classes, with blocking voltages of 1200V, 1350V, and 1600V.
