Description of product

The TMDXRM48USB is a Hercules USB development kit which is ideal for evaluating and starting development with the RM48x series of safety microcontrollers. The RM48 device is a high performance microcontroller family for safety systems. The safety architecture includes the dual CPUs in lockstep CPU and memory built in self test (BIST) logic ECC on both the flash and the data SRAM parity on peripheral memories loopback capability on peripheral I/Os. The USB stick is powered by a PC's USB port and features onboard XDS100v2 JTAG emulation along with access to several key peripheral pins. Several key peripheral pins of the microcontroller are accessible on the USB stick via two rows of test points. The USB stick also features a CAN transceiver on the DCAN1 communication interface and is accessible via a connector on the board.
  • Onboard USB XDS100v2 JTAG debug
  • Onboard SCI to PC serial communication
  • Access to key peripheral pins
  • LEDs, temp sensor, light sensor and accelerometer
  • CAN transceiver
  • An integrated XDS100v2 JTAG emulator
