Phoenix Contact QUINT4 Power Supply Units use preventive function monitoring to report critical operating states before errors occur. This is achieved through near-field communications (NFC), real-time monitoring, coordinated surge protection, and a configurable DC output characteristic to the QUINT Power line. These units feature a gas-discharge tube (GDT) for coordinated protection as well as Power Boost and Selective Fuse Breaking (SFB) technology. SFB technology trips standard circuit breakers selectively while loads that are connected in parallel continue working.
